Dr. Lewis received his BS degree magna cum laude from Xavier University and his MD degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His ophthalmology residency was at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship was at the University of Chicago. He and his associates from Retina Associates of Cleveland are investigators in numerous national clinical trials, including studies of new drugs, new applications of drugs already in use, and new laser and surgical treatments.
